1. What/who/how brought you to the $CRYPTO sphere aside the profitability?
The potential of crypto having a profound effect on society is what brought me into the space. The moment I learned about Bitcoin I saw what it could accomplish and how it would transform our world. I haven’t looked back since then.
Mass adoption of crypto will happen. What is at jeopardy is the freedom individuals will have to pick the crypto they want and have it be accepted by society. Regulations and restrictions will be rampant. Government will want you to use their digital currency. This will pose a serious barrier for the crypto that makes it to that point. That’s why community is so important. The stronger the community the more difficult to disrupt it.
3. Best risk management advise you could give to the people in $CRYPTO?
Know what you are investing in. The worst thing you can do is invest in something you know nothing about. You need to know the project is viable and will increase in value because of minimum 3 reasons. These reasons have to be grounded in reality. This could be because of psychology, development, community, etc. but it needs to be strong.
Risk management begins and ends in your buy. Choose wisely.
4. You obviously read a lot, tell us your top 3 pick (any topic)?
Intelligent Investor is the book you want to read if you want to understand why investing for the long term (HODL) is so important. The most successful investors/traders are there because of value investing, not because of day trading.
The other two I’d recommend are biographies in general. You want to read about the lives of the great individuals that rose up to become influential and change the world.
Titan about John D. Rockefeller and The First Tycoon about Cornelius Vanderbilt. These two men started from nothing and rose to become the wealthiest men in the world. Read their story, figure out what they did and allow it to give you light into your own path.
Read biographies. You will be changed.
I’m adding another book because this theme needs to be adopted or at least understood. Understanding stoicism and how it can be applied to your life.
Letter from a stoic by Seneca and Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. These two books have helped me build the mental fortitude and habits to support my long term investing views. Living a life of deferred gratification is one of the most important skills to pick up and these two books along with the stoic philosophy will help you in that path.
5. #1 recommendation to $CRYPTO noobs?
Look at the bigger picture. Look at yourself and how you live your life. Do you spend a lot of money? Do you waste your time? Figure out if you are building yourself into a worthwhile investment. Would I invest in you for the long term? Build the skills and adopt the habits that will make you a force to be reckoned. That is the most important thing any individual needs to focus on. Once you begin moving in that direction you will find your path to crypto will be easier.
In regard to crypto I stress the need for research. Understand the top 10 cryptocurrencies and figure out how they got to the top. They are currently the market leaders and researching all of them will give you a better idea of the market. You want to be the most informed investor in your area of expertise. This means that when you buy you are buying knowing the whole game. Research is a necessity for this.
Lots of wise people in the Crypto sphere, learn from the best to be the best. Follow @cryptodemedici to learn that real LONG term mentality, most new Crypto traders don’t have.
